While walking through its historic streets and local markets with my Iranian friends, something unbelievable kept happening to me again and again. A taxi driver refused to take money from me when he found out I was from India. Later, a local girl paid my bus fare without even knowing me. And when I thought I had lost my backpack forever, a taxi driver came back and returned it to me. Why are Iranians so kind to Indians? Is everything really free in Iran for Indians? Or is this part of a deeper culture of hospitality? Through this journey in Isfahan, you will see the real Iran – the people, the markets, the street life, and the incredible kindness that most people in the world never get to see. Many people only hear about Iran in the news, but the reality on the streets is completely different.
