This Catahoula puppy was dumped in a trash bin 😔

I spotted Bodhi and his owner Rafael on a walk one evening. Before I said a word, Bodhi looked at me like I was a meal delivery service - he could smell the treats from a mile away lol. Bodhi was a little shy at first, but once those treats came out, he was all business. Rafael rescued Bodhi through Seattle Humane when he was just three months old. His litter was found in a trash can in Texas. Rafael had just lost his previous dog and was searching for his next companion. Then Bodhi showed up. He named him Bodhisattva. Part Buddhism reference, part Patrick Swayze in Point Break. When I asked what he'd say to Bodhi if he could understand every word, Rafael simply said: "I just want to thank him for being there for me."
