Description
As an avid Airsoft enthusiast, I’ve had the pleasure of testing out two Airsoft pistols from APS, a well-known Hong Kong-based company renowned for their realistic Airsoft shotguns. The two pistols I received are the APS Dragonfly and the ACP622, and after using them extensively, I can confidently say I’m extremely impressed with their performance.
First up, the Dragonfly. Right out of the box, it’s clear that APS has put a lot of effort into its design. The build quality is fantastic for the price point, with solid materials that offer a reassuring weight and feel. The accuracy is spot on, and I’ve found the recoil to be just the right amount to give it a realistic kick without feeling overwhelming. The trigger response is crisp, and it has a satisfying snap when you fire. It’s definitely a great choice for players who enjoy a bit of realism without having to break the bank. The FPS (feet per second) is consistent, and the overall reliability of the pistol is something I truly appreciate. It’s a perfect balance of fun and functionality.
Then, there’s the ACP622. This is another gem in APS’s line-up. The ACP622 has a slightly different feel to it—sleeker, more tactical—and it doesn’t disappoint. The ergonomics are excellent, making it very comfortable to hold and aim, even during long gameplay sessions. I’ve found it to be incredibly precise, and the hop-up system is very effective, giving it a range and accuracy that you’d typically expect from much more expensive pistols. It also has a nice weight to it, not too heavy but enough to give it a solid feel, and the blowback action is smooth, which adds to the overall experience.
Both pistols have been reliable, performing well in various conditions, and I haven’t experienced any major issues with feeding or jams. The mags are easy to load and hold enough BBs for a decent amount of playtime, making them great for skirmishes or training.
For the price, both the Dragonfly and ACP622 are exceptional value. APS has clearly managed to strike a fine balance between cost and performance, offering Airsoft players quality pistols without the hefty price tag. I highly recommend these two products to anyone in the market for a solid, affordable Airsoft pistol. Big thanks to APS for their support, and I look forward to seeing what other innovative products they release in the future!
