Positioned between the Delta 60 and 88, it’s designed for long-range cruising with a focus on performance. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS1350s, it offers joystick control and a top speed over 40 knots. Built entirely in vacuum-infused carbon fibre, the hull is light, efficient and engineered for owners who want to drive themselves. On deck, the Delta 72 has a hydraulic transformer swim platform, a garage for a Williams 345, and an open cockpit with two adaptable tables and a wet bar. A foredeck lounge with a convertible sunpad and removable shade, and a sunpad on top of the coupe’s roof, round out the outdoor spaces. Inside, the saloon runs level from cockpit to helm. U-shaped seating sits opposite a split galley, set up for service both inside and out. The seated helm features twin displays, C Zone digital switching, and an Alcantara-clad wheel. To port, a raised navigator’s bench offers its own stereo controls and switching panel. A large opening sunroof and sliding side doors help open the space, and pale oak joinery and satin finishes keep the look light and minimal. Below, the layout includes four ensuite cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite has a bureau, fridge and wardrobes. The forward VIP offers walkaround access and good headroom. A double guest cabin sits to starboard, and a flexible fourth cabin to port can be configured with bunks or a desk. A day head sits near the stairs, and aft of the engine room is a two-berth crew space. There are trade-offs on the 72, but the result is something fast, practical and just that bit different from the usual crowd.
