Robello & Zeigler-Namoa lead 'Bows to 12-0 win over Ball State

Hekili Robello tossed seven shutout innings and Ben Zeigler-Namoa drove in six runs to lead Hawaiʻi to a 12-0 win over Ball State on Friday night at Les Murakami Stadium. Robello, a Hilo native, continued his strong start to the season. Entering the game with 16 strikeouts in 12 innings, the right-hander delivered another dominant outing, allowing just two hits while striking out nine. He did not surrender a run over seven innings, lowering his ERA to 0.95 and improving to 3-0 on the season. Hawaiʻi’s offense backed him early and often. Zeigler-Namoa paced the Rainbow Warriors with six RBIs as the home team pulled away for the shutout victory in the second game of the four-game series. With the win, Hawaiʻi improved to 7-3 overall.
