You can make it as scary or silly as you want (we personally love funny tombstone sayings)! Its easy to make your own headstones from scratch, but it’s even EASIER to upgrade store-bought tombstones. We picked up a couple of new Styrofoam tombstones from Home Depot for our 2022 Halloween decorations. They actually were a good size and had some nice carving, but the paint job was a little plain and we wanted to add in our own epitaphs. Luckily, giving your Halloween store Tombstones an epic makeover is crazy easy! After sanding off any decorations that you don’t want, you can either carve in your own letters with a Dremel, or you can use 3D letters. We love making our own Halloween props and decorations from scratch, but giving existing props a makeover is also a lot of fun. Foam Tombstones from Spirit Halloween, Target, Home Depot, or even the Dollar Store can provide a great starting point, and with a little bit of DIY love you can transform them into a customized, realistic Halloween prop for your haunted house or Halloween yard display. #DIY #Halloween #Makeove
