Panjeeri Laddo
Ingredients for Roasted Nuts:
Ghee 1/2 cup
Gondh 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts 1 cup
Walnuts 1 cup
Pistachio 1 cup
Makhana 1 cup
Almonds 1 cup
Maghaz 1 cup
Raisins 1 cup
Flax seeds 1/2 cup
Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup
Poppy seeds 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Fennel seeds powder 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Panjeeri Laddo:
Ghee 1 cup
Wheat flour 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Nuts mixture
Silver paper as required
Directions for Roasted Nuts Preparation:
In a pan heat ghee and add gondh. Roast until it bubbles.
Now add cashew nuts, walnuts, pistachio, makhana, almonds, maghaz, raisins, flax seeds, desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, cardamom powder, fennel seeds powder and roast for 10-15 mins.
Now grind them well in a grinder and set aside.
Directions for Panjeeri Laddo Preparation:
In a pan heat ghee and add wheat flour. Cook for 8-10 mins.
Now add sugar and cook until the color of the mixture turns brown and the texture gets hard.
Now transfer this mixture to a bowl, add nuts mixture and mix them well together.
Now make laddo shapes from this mixture and place silver paper on top of each laddo.
Your Panjeeri Laddo are ready.
