New Heron Chicks at the Lake

Surprisingly, after the nest had seemed to have been abandoned, there are now 2 heron chicks. There were also 2 last year. This clip shows them in the nest and being fed by the adult although obviously it is taken from quite a distance as the nest is on the small island in the middle of the lake. The trees are also now all in leaf so nests and birds are harder to spot. Lovely to see though.
