Previously unseen artworks and letters by British artist David Hockney have been discovered in a cardboard box and are expected to fetch over £20,000 at auction in Derbyshire, UK.
The collection, gifted to his friend and art critic Véra Russell, includes an intricate 1978 portrait and a rare early digital artwork created on an Apple Macintosh.
The archive also features correspondence from Picasso, Henry Moore and Francis Bacon.
The items go under the hammer on 1 April.
