Next stages of the Rail Network Rebuild - NZSL

Find out about the upcoming changes to passenger services in 2025. There will be holiday periods and some long weekends when the trains will not be running. This is part of the Rail Network Rebuild work, which is delivered before the City Rail Link opens in 2026. The City Rail Link will support shorter journey times for customers and trains every 4 – 5 minutes at peaks.
