Sacramento Light Rail Trains Pass Nearly Completed Dos Rios Station Construction Site, Sacramento CA

May 14, 2026 Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains on the SACRT Blue Line pass through the construction site of the nearly completed new Dos Rios Station in Sacramento, California. Since I last filmed a station specific video here a month or so ago, The station now has artwork, sitting spots, timetable signs, fence between tracks, Dos Rios Station sign, next stop signs, all yellow striping on both platforms, the remaining inbound side mini-hi ramp was built, and the roadways asphalt was put down filling in all the gaps in the roadway of N 12th Street. SACRT mentioned that the station is ahead of schedule in construction and that their maybe a earlier opening date of this station than it's original late Sep 2026 timeframe and I'm wonder are they aiming for June or July or are they just going to annual it for the Aug or Sep route updates. We will have to see because sometimes it is questionable how SACRT does things.
