What started as a strictly mileage-focused day completely flipped into one of the craziest experiences of this trip. The morning kicked off in Rayagada with a necessary pitstop at the Royal Enfield showroom to swap out a broken clutch wire. With the bike sorted, the objective was simple: get back on the road and start chipping away at the 1,800 km remaining between me and Guwahati. I pulled over later for a quick break to eat some local Odisha mangoes—which are genuinely incredible—but the day derailed in the best way possible shortly after. I stumbled into a Bonda tribe wedding, and the energy was absolute madness. There was no holding back. The locals welcomed me without hesitation, shared their food, and before I knew it, I was dragged into the middle of an intense Nagin dance.
