Replenishing Aussies at Sea | Royal New Zealand Navy

Royal New Zealand Navy's HMNZS Aotearoa recently participated in an exercise in the Philippine Sea along with vessels from the Australian, Philippine and United States navies. Aotearoa conducted its 112th Replenishment At Sea (RAS) since commissioning when it topped up the tanks of Royal Australian Navy's HMAS Ballarat. Ballarat then returned the favour by refuelling Aotearoa's Seasprite helicopter. Working with Australia at sea is key element of our strategic defence partnership.
