Why This Matters: The Ottawa Food Bank recently announced cuts of 20–50% to 98 local food programs due to soaring demand and limited resources. Over 556,000 annual visits to Ottawa’s food programs highlight the urgency, with 37% of recipients being children. HCI’s response?
