It’s been one year since the death of Virginia Giuffre, one of the first women to surrender her anonymity and publicly call for criminal charges against convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
On Saturday afternoon, a dozen fellow survivors gathered on the National Mall in Washington DC to honor her and continue their fight for accountability and justice.
Those in attendance included Giuffre’s family and friends, congressman Jamie Raskin and non-profit leaders.
