Japanese Hare Grooms Itself after Hopping around the Snow Field in Mid Winter

A Japanese hare (Lepus brachyurus angustidens, family Leporidae) in the winter coat hopping around the snow-covered fallow field. In the end, the hare sat on the snow field to groom itself for a while. The Japanese hare showed no interest in the winter den of Japanese raccoon dogs (Nyctereutes viverrinus, family Canidae).
