Description

Learn the technical progressions that help athletes nail the wall walk — from foot placement to the descent. This coaching session breaks down the wall walk into three key progressions: Getting Both Feet on the Wall Keep your hands fixed and drive your hips up and back. The higher you can reach your first foot, the fewer steps you'll need up the wall. Posting and Shifting Master the weight shift that lets one hand move freely while the other posts up. This prevents the rushed, unstable hand movements that lead to crashes. Walking Up with Stacked Shoulders Walk your hands through your shoulders, not your shoulders out from under your head. Keep your ears hidden behind your shoulders the entire way up. The Touch and Descent Touch the wall and immediately push back out; don't hold the crux position. On the way down, keep your legs long and straight to help push you away from the wall. Whether you're coaching athletes or refining your own technique, these cues will help you move more efficiently and safely through wall walks. #crossfit #crossfitcoach #coachingcrossfit #wallwalk — CrossFit is the world’s leading platform for improving health and performance.
