5-1-26 Federal Signal DSA 4x4 Siren 2 Minute Attack + 1 Minute Alert Test, Jasper, IN

After catching the Webster County, KY, siren test, @madisoncountysirens4295, @DSRX100, @MusicCitySirens, @Glist_, @Creeperfan12, and I all made the two-hour drive from Providence over to Jasper, to see about catching their monthly siren test. We all decided to go for this DSA in downtown Jasper on top of the city hall as it's still on an old(er) MCP controller, and neither Harris nor I (at least) had heard a DSA and/or MCP in person yet. The test wound-up being about 7 minutes late, but, thankfully, I was finally able to get my first DSA and MCP in person, along with my first siren test in Indiana! Amusingly, when they tried to cancel the siren after about two minutes, the aging controller on it glitched-out and wound the siren back up in the alert tone for another minute instead! Unfortunately, the wind here on this day really blew my camera around while the siren was sounding, so that sucks, but I do think this video still turned-out decently. Unlike most DSA installs, this one has each speaker array mounted on each of the four corners of the building, which certainly makes for an interesting look. It definitely makes sense to do it this way though, as it probably helps maximize the siren's coverage area. While I was just zoomed in on one of the arrays, you can see two others while I'm zooming-out from it after the test. Jasper, IN, tests on the first of every month at 4 PM, weather permitting.
