This entire rescue comes down to finding one bee. 🐝 Finding the queen in a massive swarm is always satisfying, but it is also critical, especially when the bees have just moved into the wall of someone’s home. 🐝 If the queen escapes deeper into the cavity, the job can quickly become bigger, messier, and far more time-consuming. Securing her early is the key to a clean, ethical removal. 🐝 Every colony we rescue is rehoused in a beehive and relocated to our pollinator sanctuary. After a quarantine period and pest and disease health checks, some colonies join our honey-production apiaries, while others are rehomed with trusted beekeepers in our network. — © Hinterland Bees
