U.S.-Israel Strikes Eliminate Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranians Celebrate Globally | CBN News Recap

The United States and Israeli forces preemptively struck Iranian military and regime targets early Saturday morning. Airstrikes resulted in the death of Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along with numerous IRGC staff and top leaders. In response, Iran's military responded with retaliatory missile and drone strikes against U.S. and Israeli sites in the region, as well as mainland targets in Israel and neighboring countries. In an address issued by President Trump, the president closed his address with a final appeal to the Iranian people. “So, let's see how you respond," he exhorted. "America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force.
