Ingredients:
1x 5kg Ham
Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub
2 Oranges
Glaze:
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Orange Juice
2 Tbsp Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
2 tsp Wholegrain Mustard
Method:
Pre heat the Traeger to 325F / 163C
• To prepare the ham, gently run your fingers between the skin/rind and meat to seperate, and remove. Next using a sharp knife, score the ham in a crisscross pattern.
• Season the ham all over in the Traeger pork and poultry rub, then place on a tray over sliced oranges. Add a splash of orange juice to the tray, then pop into the bbq and cook for roughly and 1.5 - 2 hours.
• With about 30-40 minutes left. Place all the I glaze ingredients into a bowl or saucepan and heat in the Traeger. Once the sugar has dissolved, brush the glaze al over the ham. Once the ham has reached 140F / 60C, remove from the Traeger and allow to rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
