Description

Over the better part of a decade, Caledonia Works have modelled a healthy variety of both famous and obscure locomotives for TS classic, with this video being focused on something at the more obscure / niche end of the spectrum. This is the London & South Western Railway ‘L11’ class 4-4-0, designed by Dugald Drummond and built between , with a total buildout of 40 locomotives. They were similar to the 'T9' class, albeit with smaller driving wheels (and the L11s were never superheated). The last L11 was withdrawn in 1952, and sadly, none have survived into preservation.
