Indian Pacific Chase - Sydney to Bathurst - 31/12/2025

Welcome to a Rail Town Productions film, in this film we are featuring: a chase of Journey Beyond Rail's Indian Pacific. This transcontinental service runs from Sydney (along the Pacific Ocean) to Perth (along the Indian Ocean) via Adelaide. Runs weekly with the train normally having a simple shunt at Sydney Terminal; but with this filmed during Summer, a more complex shunt was performed. This chase goes all the way to Bathurst, the end of the "Blue Mountains Line". With Pacific National locomotives NR29 (in Indian Pacific livery) and NR108 (in Pacific National standard corpoate), are seen on the lead duties for the Indian Pacific through to Adelaide, before becoming single engine.
