He's one of the LAST people left on this street and it's WORSE THAN I THOUGHT

One house in particular looked like it had been sitting for a while, so I stopped and knocked on the door but didn't get an answer. I was pretty sure it was vacant, so I walked across the street to talk to a neighbor. He confirmed the house was vacant, but what really surprised me was when he told me that almost every house around him is vacant too. Out of about seven homes on that street, only three actually have people living in them. He said he's seen someone come by the property once or twice, but they never do anything with it. So I figured I'd go ahead and get it cleaned up for him and the few neighbors that are still out here. This one was really satisfying to work on because it had a long sidewalk, a long front curb, two driveways, and a front walkway going all the way up to the door. Getting just the edges cleaned up made a huge difference, but then I got my Bad Boy Mower out to knock down all the tall grass across the yard. By the time I finished, it honestly looked like somebody lives here again, which is exactly what you want to see.
