US President Donald Trump has announced that a TikTok deal has been reached with China, claiming he will talk with President Xi Jinping this Friday to sign it off. Western media is already claiming US interests will own 80% of the US version of the app, with ByteDance retaining just 20%. It's also been reported in the West that the US will lease the app's valuable algorithm from China. That's interesting, consider they always said China can't innovate, right? But how true is Trump's latest claim?
