Description
June 15th 2022 had a moderate risk of severe storms and tornadoes in Wisconsin but that was just too far for us to travel to and make it back to Denver on the the 17th, our only other option was to play the low end 'Marginal' risk in East Central Kansas. We started the day in Lincoln Nebraska and drove south into Kansas with pretty low expectations for the day as the data just didnt look too promising for severe storms. By mid afternoon a few towers started to go up South of Emporia and before long, to our suprise, we had a spectacular, isolated supercell to chase well into the evening. I will be working on a full length video for this days chase soon.
