Media Briefing: Officer-Involved Shooting in the 13350 block of Cityscape Ave. I Houston Police

Assistant Chief Patricia Cantu briefs the mendia about an officer-involved shooting in the 13350 block of Cityscape Ave. Preliminary information: At approximately 1:41am on Friday, December 26th, HPD received a call that a tan Suburban had crashed into woman's vehicle in an apartment parking lot at the above address. The caller said when she went outside to check on her vehicle, she saw a man pointing a gun at her, so she went back inside and called the police. When officers arrived, they spotted the tan Suburban and gave the driver commands. Three officers discharged their duty weapons, striking the driver. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
