Yeah, it’s pretty unusual at first sight 😄 This is a type of vacuum toilet called “Propelair.” The transparent lid is part of the system — before flushing, the lid has to be closed tightly. Then it uses pressurized air and a very small amount of water to suck everything down, kind of like the toilets on airplanes.
