This antagonist, Angstrom would use his powers to find evil versions of our protagonist Invincible, the strongest superhero on Earth; and to bring them all together to have them invade Earth and eventually conquer it. Of course, these Invincible variants all came in different shapes and the same sizes; and they spread out across the world to battle our heroes and to take over the planet. They are all eventually defeated or removed from the universe by Angstrom as he betrayed them; bringing a swift conclusion to what is referred to as the Invincible War. But, this arc has been the inspiration for many multiverse things we see today; and really, one of the first showings of how interesting exploring the infinite possibilites of the multiverse could be. But what if there was an Invincible universe, in which one of the worst timelines could happen, through an unknown set of events, an strange & horrifying variant of Invincible who understands it’s endless casuality and the pointlessness of the multiverse exists, with it’s only purpose being to consume and eradicate all that exist through countless battles in an attempt to end the loop that all Invincible’s and their universes must suffer. This Invincible Variant is a monster that none can stop; Grotesque Mark.
