My Thoughts on Murder Drones Special - Meet J

Did you know this in Murder Drones? Today glitch released a brand new murder drones special video called meet J. Is it any good? Let’s talk about it. So this 8 minute special is a documentary filmed by J that takes place before the events of the pilot. She talks about her team and what their job is. Midway through she takes a break and messes around, and gets a phone call from Cyn. This scares her, and for the rest of the video she’s on edge until V finds her a jcjenson pen. At the end we see the group fly off hunting while Uzi shows up with her gun just like in the pilot. There’s a new merch collection at the end. So i actually really enjoyed this video, it’s similar to the music video from last year, it’s amazing. Myself and alot of fans were expecting a merch drop, but this was as close as we’re gonna get to a season 2. They’re giving us lore about the characters by showing what happens before the events of the show. I absolutely loved the characterisation here for everyone, especially J. There were so many funny jokes and visual gags, i was laughing the whole way through. We see different sides to her which we don’t get to see in the show, like her playful side with her JCjenson obsession and also her when she’s worried and concerned. It gives more depth and also explains why J acts the way she does in the show. J received alot of criticism and hate when the show was airing, but she was so likeable in this video, i think it’ll make alot of fans like her more now. Lastly the animation and voice work is superb, it’s amazing. I really hope glitch does more of these for the different characters. I’d love to see a prequel video for Cyn especially.
