Short Story : Najma lives with her son, Usman who meets with an accident and she needs 5 lakh rupees for the surgery. Her husband remarried and he agreed to help Najma financially for the surgery only if she divorces him.A band robbery of nine crore rupees is reported and the case is transferred to the special team and they suspect the help of a bank employee. Najma is very close to her neighbour Sudha who looks after her son very well. Najma deposits five lakh rupees in the hospital for the treatment and the serial numbers of the notes robbed from the bank. She was killed before the police could investigate about the money. On investigation, the police found out that Sudha's husband had part of the money that he saw at Sudha's house which he kept at his in-law's house. Madhuker, who was Sudha's father had sold his land to give a part of the payment to her son and also additionally gave money from the bag that Sudha's husband kept at his house. One night, on misbehaving with Madhuker, he killed him. The police found blood traces on the notes which matched the victims' blood. He had stolen the bag from Najma's house. Najma's friend had stolen the money from the bank along with the bank manager and the police officer. He kept the bag at her place for safety reasons and she used part of the money for her son's surgery.
