Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal-Wakīl verse | Quran ‘Ali Imran 3 verse 173 to 174 recited by Ahmad Al-Nufais

This verse was revealed about believers who were threatened, intimidated, and told that powerful enemies had gathered against them. Most people would have become afraid. Instead, they responded with words that every believer should carry in their heart: “Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal-Wakīl” “Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.” And what happened next? Allah tells us: “So they returned with favour from Allah and bounty. No harm touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the Possessor of immense bounty.” (Qur’an 3:174) Notice the sequence. Trust came before relief. Reliance came before victory. Certainty came before the blessing. Many people want the outcome before they trust Allah. But the believer trusts Allah before seeing the outcome. When the future feels uncertain… When your heart feels overwhelmed… When the problem seems bigger than you… Remember that nothing is bigger than the One who controls it. Perhaps the very thing you are worried about today will become the reason Allah opens doors you never imagined tomorrow. Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal-Wakīl. Not just words to be recited. A mindset. A source of strength. A declaration that your heart is attached to Allah before anyone and anything else. May Allah make us among those who rely upon Him sincerely, pursue His pleasure, and return with His favour and bounty. Ameen
