This chili peanut noodles recipe is an easy, quick, and delicious homemade noodle dish packed with creamy peanut butter, chili oil, garlic, and savory Asian flavors. A simple spicy peanut noodles recipe that's better than takeout and perfect for busy days. INGREDIENTS -8 cups water -300g knife cut noodles (not knife noodles sorry 😁) -3–4 Tbsp reserved noodle cooking water -3 Tbsp soy sauce -1½–2 Tbsp chili oil (I used chili garlic oil) -1 Tbsp sesame oil -4 Tbsp oyster sauce -1 Tbsp light brown sugar -1 Tbsp grated or finely chopped garlic -5–6 Tbsp smooth peanut butter (I used sweet peanut butter) OPTIONAL Cooking oil (for a smoother mouthfeel) Chopped spring onions Toasted garlic NOTE: Different brands of knife cut noodles may require different cooking times. Adjust as needed and cook until al dente (firm and slightly chewy), or follow the package instructions before proceeding with the recipe. Hi!
