We need to talk about doctors pushing c-sections…

There’s a lot of fear-mongering around birth, and especially surgical births, or c-sections. Are C-section rates too high because doctors in the US particularly really push them for their own profit or convenience? And what effect does that have on babies? Recently, a study came out that suggests that being birthed by planned C-section increases the risk of a particular childhood cancer by a lot. Of course, this made waves in the mainstream media, but did they get it right? Well, as with lots of medical things…kind of, but not really.
