'Between the sea and the Jordan River, there is no room for two states' says Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Saturday that, between the sea and the Jordan River, there is no room for two states. Netanyahu said the Israeli public had previously been divided over the two-state solution, but that this had changed over the past three years. Israel has taken steps to help settlers take over land in the occupied West Bank, while settler violence has increased since 7 October 2023 — measures experts say are aimed at undermining the two-state solution.
