This video captures my full experience at the Cairns 70.3 Ironman 2025 in Far North Queensland, Australia — my very first long-distance triathlon. The race consisted of: • 1.9km swim 🏊‍♀️ (no sharks 🦈, no crocodiles 🐊, good start) • 90km bike 🚴‍♀️ (wind was rude 💨) • 21.1km run 🏃‍♀️ (chasing the 8.5 hours cut off time) I completed it in a time of 6 hours and 37 minutes. My friends and I participated in the race, crossing the finish line earning our finishers medals was an unforgettable moment, one that made every early morning, every long session, and every tough kilometre worth it. Cairns delivered one of the most spectacular and challenging courses I’ve ever experienced. From the ocean swim to the rainforest-lined highways and the tropical run course, this race will stay with me forever.
