Instead of perishing, the apex predator is resurrected into an immortal, glowing phantom driven by a singular, unyielding desire for bloody revenge. Now operating as a translucent, supernatural entity, the killer shark sets its sights on the unsuspecting seaside community of Smallport, Florida. Because of its unique spectral form, the monster doesn't need the ocean to hunt; it can instantly materialize and attack humans using even the smallest amount of water—viciously striking victims from swimming pools, bathtubs, localized rainstorms, and even tiny drinking cups. While the corrupt local mayor attempts to hush up the bizarre string of disappearances to protect his impending re-election campaign, a courageous teenager named Ava Conte (Mackenzie Rosman) uncovers the truth. Teaming up with Finch (Richard Moll), an eccentric, reclusive local lighthouse keeper who holds the keys to the town's dark mystical history, they must deploy an ancient talisman and heavy explosives to destroy the paranormal cave and banish the phantom predator before the entire town is dragged into a watery grave.
