We built an EVO to CHALLENGE our GT-R's! // 1000HP+ Evo IX (Full Build)

Can this 'AWAKEND' Mitsubishi Evo IX really compete with some of the fastest cars at Roll Racing? Something a little different to our usual Nissan GT-R content, this build has been in the works for many years and now it's finished! With goals of increasing the power from it's original milestone of 750HP towards an incredible 1200HP this build was going to need some serious upgrades. All the parts to support this massive goal including a billet transfer case for extra strength, Samsonas 5-Speed sequential for flat shifting goodness and an upgraded MoTeC system to keep everything running smoothly. Justin gets the new 4G63 grout-filled 2.2L Nitto stroker kit engine assembled in our engine room before Casey from Regal Racecraft jumps in to fabrication. The fabrication of this build was a real challenge due to the custom 6 Boost pro-mod manifold to allow us to position the TurboSmart 7675 Turbo neatly in the engine bay. Sam get's the MoTeC system tucked away in the car and explains our use of a patch harness supplied by Powertune. Once the wiring is all sorted we get to experience the first start. After a successful first start we make our way onto the dyno to see how much power we can make then Andy goes for a test drive to see just how all that power feels on the street!
