Ian vs Karl vs. Admin: What's the Best Militia Rifle?

Today we ran a little experiment. I asked the same question to three very different gun experts, separately, without telling any of them who else was involved. Administrative Results, Ian McCollum of Forgotten Weapons, and Karl Kasarda of InRangeTV all got the same scenario: you have to arm a militia of untrained fighters using one rifle platform. The FAL, G3, AK, or AR. No collaboration, no coaching, no prior knowledge of each other’s answers. The result was something I didn’t expect. They all landed in the exact same place, with almost identical reasoning. This video isn’t just about the rifles. It’s about what actually matters when everything breaks down: simplicity, reliability, recoil, and how forgiving a system is when the people using it don’t know what they’re doing. Turns out, even very different people can arrive at the same conclusion when you force them to answer the same practical question.
