Satellite timelapse shows movement of wildfire smoke through Ohio

Video courtesy of CIRA Satellites/TMX Canadian wildfire smoke still lingers over North America, streaming above the Great Lakes, over the East Coast, and out across the Atlantic Ocean. Eight counties in Northeast Ohio will again be under an Air Quality Advisory on Saturday. The Ohio EPA plans to end its statewide advisory at midnight on Friday. So what's in store for Northeast Ohio on Saturday? "Air quality levels may be unhealthy during this period," NOACA notes. The "Unhealthy" or "code red" level is when the Air Quality Index (AQI) is between 151 and 200. Officials advise that "sensitive groups" should avoid long or intense outdoor activities. For everyone else, you are advised to reduce long or intense activities and take more breaks during outdoor activities.
