What was the ORIGINAL Story of Episode 7 of The Digital Circus?

Did you know this in the amazing digital circus? So last week gooseworx confirmed that episode 7 was rewritten during development. So what was the original plan for the episode? Let me explain. So a few months before episode 7 aired, gooseworx said on livestream it went through “development hell”. 7 and 8 were split in two, which is why there’s 9 episodes. Last week on tumblr gooseworx straight up confirms that 7 was rewritten during development. She also said that Jax was always intended to abstract, it was in the original pitch bible. So what was the original plan? We can actually tell if we look at the filler content in these episodes. So 3 things stick out as obvious filler, being the beach portion in 7, caine’s song in 8, and basically the first half of 9. Abel is also present throughout the show, so he would’ve showed up. Most of 7 was also basically just debunking popular fan theories, you could tell while watching that most of it was made in response to the fandom. I think in the original version of 7, Abel was Scratch or Mike Dobby. Scratch’s icon is reused in spudys’s. Kaufmo’s is reused in 5, and ribbits is teased as well. We hear Ribbit and Kaufmo via flashbacks in 9, while Scratch is only mentioned by kinger in 7. We never hear him speak. In another tumblr ask gooseworx answered what happened to scratch, he wasn’t happy and caine tried to mess with his mind which is how he was the first abstraction. This is why the mind control stuff happens a couple times with jax and then nothing is done with the plotpoint, it was cut out. She also said that C&A fell apart because of caine. We never see this in the show. Abel also has beef with Kinger for some reason, but it doesn’t make alot of sense since Caine never outright criticises or expresses hatred towards Kinger at any point. Abel was given that distrust as an excuse to not invite kinger since he would spoil the adventure,. However i think this was a holdover from when Scratch was Abel. Perhaps originally Scratch made the brain scanner and the Blue ai, while kinger made caine the red ai who ate the blue one. Scratch would’ve held resentment against Kinger for screwing everything up and causing c&a to go bust. Goose also said that Scratch died in the real world, so it makes sense for his online copy to despise kinger. He’s literally dead in real life because of him. This would further tie Kinger in with Nimdok from i have no mouth who he’s based on. They’re both partly responsible for the crazy AI torturing everyone. So combined together, in 7 scratch would appear and explain how he took over a mannequin and give us backstory on the downfall of c&a. This would be the nail in the coffin of the cast turning on caine, causing caine to snap at the end of 7 and become evil, probably deleting scratch. In 8 caine gets deleted and then jax abstracts. Personally I liked 7, but looking back it’s easily one of the weakest episodes of the show, it’s not particularly rewatchable. So what do you think? Are you a fan of my theory?
