► This is a deadly sport… someone died in the UK from a jousting-incident less than 10 years ago. If you’re a bit over eggs and the hunt thereof this Easter… this might be of interest to you. Yes, the sport of knights and lances, is still popular – enjoying a revival, even - and this weekend brave participants will climb in the saddle for an international tournament in Leeds. Lovers of the sport want it at the Olympics, but there’s a hurdle to overcome – it can be fatal.
