As the walls of her digital cell close in, her longing for freedom will reach a breaking point, and force her to shatter the persona she spent a decade cultivating and discover that sometimes we have to disconnect to find connection. Reviews: I honestly checked out the film based solely on the fact that it sounded like an intriguing premise. It FAR surpassed my expectations. Pretty much everything about "Under The Influencer" worked for me. The concept, the casting (the female lead, Taylor Joree Scorse) was spectacular), the writing, the cinematography, editing and overall direction. Even the character-created song in the latter half of the film was pitch-perfect for what it needed to accomplish. I'm in awe of what talented filmmakers like this young dude, Alex Haughey, can accomplish on a shoestring budget. Quite impressive stuff indeed.
