While its mid-size crossover body provides the practicality SUV buyers are after, the Cayenne’s road manners channel Porsche’s performance cars to satisfying effect. A turbocharged V-6 or twin-turbo V-8 delivers brisk or searing acceleration, respectively. The Cayenne’s cabin is comfortable and spacious, although there’s no option for a third row of seats. Tech features abound, and the Cayenne’s dashboard can be equipped with up to three individual displays if you want that much screen time. You don’t need them all, though: the Cayenne’s athletic handling and strong performance are entertaining enough. What's New for 2026? The Cayenne’s infotainment system has been upgraded for 2026, although the changes are mostly behind the scenes. The SUV’s 12.3-inch center touchscreen and optional 10.9-inch passenger display remain the same, but updated hardware is said to improve response times while an integrated app store—called Porsche App Center—provides opportunities to download new third-party apps. Amazon Alexa has been added to the system, and Cayennes equipped with Bose and Burmester stereo systems now feature spatial audio via Dolby Atmos.
