Hey y’all! I’m Monique, founder of Divas Can Cook. I started this channel in 2009 after realizing the internet was lacking in certain recipes: real, from-scratch Southern recipes like the ones I grew up eating in my Grandma Barb’s kitchen.
My cooking is inspired by deep-South Elberton, Georgia flavors mixed with the farm-to-table mountain vibes of Asheville, North Carolina—think fried green tomatoes, flaky buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, and rustic fruit cobblers made the old-fashioned way.
