Megalodon Was Even More Terrifying Than We Thought

Though we know little of Megalodon due to their remains being rather scrappy due to their cartilaginous skeleton, their teeth and isolated vertebrae paint a picture of a truly enormous animal, with them at their estimated largest based on their relatives being up to 20 meters long and weighing an astounding 127 tons, making them not just the largest fish, but among some the largest animals to have ever lived, comparable to the most massive blue whales, but, as it turns out, they weren’t alone.
