Shooting injures 3, triggers gas leak

Cincinnati Police are investigating after several people were hurt in a shooting in Avondale Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the corner of Reading Road and Hutchins Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. after shots were fired. There, officers found three people with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims have non-life-threatening injuries; the other victim is in serious condition, according to CPD. The Cincinnati Fire Department also responded to the scene after a stray bullet struck the gas meter of a cell phone store on the corner. Firefighters were able to shut off the gas, and Duke Energy is making repairs. Police said there is no suspect information at this time.
