The first television station in the state of Ohio, and the most awarded in Cleveland, News 5 Cleveland (WEWS) is an ABC affiliate owned by Scripps.

We take a different approach. Too often in TV news reporting, viewers don’t know what happened after the initial story, how the victims or communities coped in the days and weeks after, or what resolutions to issues were ever reached.
