The MOST RIDICULOUS Vietnamese Pho Challenge I've EVER Attempted!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Viet Pho's 10-15 Pound Vietnamese Beef Pho Noodles Soup Challenge hosted by Việt Phở Vietnamese Restaurant in Saint Charles, Missouri!! While home with my family in St. Peters, Missouri to celebrate Thanksgiving (2025), @KatinaEatsKilos and I headed nearby to Việt Phở Vietnamese Restaurant in St. Charles, MO so I could stupidly try their "10lb" Vietnamese Pho Challenge!! All previous challengers had a 40 minute time limit to eat about 10 pounds of pho in a ceramic bowl, with the weight including lots of delicious beef pho broth. Without telling me or giving me any advanced warning, for my attempt, Viet Pho decided to make my pho challenge in the largest metal bowl they could find in the United States, and fill it with as much beef and as many rice noodles as they could, plus some healthy vegetables. There was minimal broth to begin with, compared to all the noodles, and the metal bowl stayed hot all throughout the challenge, making the whole experience miserable, all in front of over 100 much appreciated people who came up to watch me and meet Katina. I knew I was going to fail before I even started, but could not back out due to all the people there, so I just did the best I could. It probably all weighed around 15 pounds total? Ridiculous, and way too big for my stomach capacity. I was trying to win my $100 Vietnamese pho challenge meal free, plus a sweet T-shirt, a gift card or certificate to come back and use later, and a spot on their Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Việt Phở for hosting all of the people who came to watch me get bent over, including my family and friends!!
