Tender Moments As Orangutan Djimat Grooms His Son Joe

*Experience a heart warming moment at Dudley Zoo as huge orangutan dad Djimat gently grooms and cuddles his son Joe in the shelter.* The weather was a bit mixed, so the Dudley Zoo orangutan family decided to sit inside the hut to stay dry. Djimat was in there with his son Joe, and then a truly great moment between father and son. It is beautiful to watch as Djimat starts grooming Joe, and you can see Joe really cuddling into him until his dad starts grooming his little back. Djimat has these absolutely huge hands, yet he is holding on to little Joe with so much care. He really is an amazing dad and just so gentle with the little one. Joe hops off for a quick second but comes right back to spend some more quality time with his dad.
